The weaving project

Weaving is a traditional skill and DSA is committed to teaching PWDs on how to weave in order to preserve the rich and diverse textile culture of Nepal.The concept of this Project is to develop livelihood skills to People with different types of Disability. This concept has been widely proven as means of artistic activities and social participation for persons with disabilities.The targets of this handweaving training are persons with disabilities, especially physically-disabled persons including hearing disability, visual disability, internal disability, higher brain dysfunction, and persons with multiple disabilities.
